Job Description

Arden Courts Glen Ellyn is hiring a full-time Resident Caregiver with a $2,500 Sign-on Bonus.

The Resident Caregiver assists residents with daily activities as per the resident service plan, including personal care, food service, housekeeping, laundry, behavior management, socialization, activities, orientation, and information needs. The role requires tact, sensitivity, and professionalism due to frequent interactions with residents and families to ensure satisfaction.

Pay Range

• CNA: $18.25 - $20.60 per hour depending on experience
• Resident Caregiver: $17.25 - $19.50 per hour depending on experience

Job Requirements

• Education: High School diploma (Springhouse); High School diploma or equivalent (Arden Courts/Linden Village)
• Skills: Basic reading, writing, and understandable English communication
• Experience: Knowledge of working with elderly; dementia experience preferred
• Certification: Required per state regulations; must complete Springhouse’s/Arden Courts’ training

Physical Demands

• Ability to stand, walk, bend, squat for prolonged periods
• Push, pull, lift, and carry up to 50 pounds unassisted
• Full use of hands, arms, legs for activities like washing, bathing, dressing, writing, cleaning
• Ability to read thermometers, charts, testing equipment, and operate household appliances
• Good physical and mental health
