Job summary

LakeHouse Senior Living in Wisconsin is seeking a Certified Nurse’s Aide (CNA) to support Independent Living, Assisted Living and Memory Care residents. You will assist with daily activities, maintain residents’ well-being, and help promote independence and safety on a daily basis.

Ideal candidates have a CNA certification (preferred), a high school diploma, and strong communication and customer service skills.

Qualifications

• Certified Nurse’s Aide certification preferred.
• High School diploma or GED required.
• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Experience with seniors preferred.
• Ability to communicate effectively with residents, management and coworkers.
• Superior customer service skills and ability to handle multiple priorities.
• Demonstrates good judgment, problem-solving and decision-making.

Responsibilities

• Maintaining cleanliness of resident’s room and work areas.
• Helping residents maintain independence, promoting dignity and safety.
• Assisting residents with activities of daily living (bathing, dressing, toileting, grooming, ambulation, transferring, eating) as instructed
• Engaging residents in life skills and other life enrichment activities
