Job summary

Sodalis Senior Living is seeking a compassionate Resident Assistant to support residents with daily living activities and maintain a safe, clean environment in line with our core values of Service, Integrity, Dignity, Excellence, and Teamwork.

You will work directly with residents, coordinate with the health team, and assist with meals, records, and daily tasks while promoting resident quality of life.

Qualifications

• 1 year caregiving experience in Assisted Living or Senior Living facilities is a plus.
• Must be able to lift in excess of 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct care and activities of daily living to residents, including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting and engagement.
• Maintain health and wellness records for residents in paper and electronic formats.
• Perform daily household tasks per shift, including laundry and housekeeping.
• Prepare and serve meals as needed and assist residents during meals.
• Report concerns to management and adhere to Sodalis resident policies and procedures.
• Train and mentor new staff and participate in mandatory meetings.
• Communicate with Team Leader, Health and Wellness Director, and Management about changes in residents’ condition.
• Greet visitors and give marketing tours in the absence of management.
• Report abuse or neglect of residents as required by law.
