Arden Courts ProMedica Memory Care West Orange is hiring a part-time CNA (NJ CHHA also welcome to apply)

The Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) assists residents in all aspects of their daily life as indicated in the resident service plan, including personal care, food service, housekeeping, laundry, behavior management, socialization, activities, orientation, and information needs. This position requires tact, sensitivity, and professionalism due to the constant interaction with residents and families to guarantee their satisfaction.

Qualifications:

  • High School diploma (Springhouse); High School diploma or equivalent (Arden Courts/Linden Village)
  • Basic reading and writing skills, and ability to speak English clearly
  • Experience working with elderly; dementia experience preferred
  • Certification as per state regulations; successful completion of Springhouse’s/Arden Courts’ training

Physical Demands:

  • Ability to stand, walk, bend, and squat for prolonged periods
  • Ability to push, pull, lift, and carry up to 50 pounds unassisted
  • Full use of hands, arms, and legs for various tasks
  • Ability to read thermometers, charts, and operate household appliances
  • Good physical and mental health
