Qualifications

• Must be at least eighteen years of age.
• Attends all staff meetings, development programs, and continuing education as required.
• Adheres to all policies and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Perform personal care and assistance with daily living.
• Assist residents with dressing, bathing, grooming, and eating.
• Monitor and respond to residents' wellbeing.
• Perform monthly vital checks and weights for each resident.

Skills

Successful completion of weight and vital training

Successful completion of American Red Cross Standard First Aid course

Knowledge of techniques for personal care service

Sensitivity to residents' personal care needs

Education

High school graduate or equivalent
