Job summary

Qualifications

• Must have high school diploma or equivalent.
• CPR certification upon hire or during orientation; certification must remain current.
• Knowledge of laws, regulations, and guidelines governing post-acute care facilities.

Responsibilities

• Pass ice, water, and distribute snacks to residents and clean nourishment areas.
• Assist with passing and retrieval of meal trays and dining area cleaning.
• Make unoccupied beds and change bed linens.
• Organize residents' drawers and closets and label personal items.
• Organize shower rooms and clean utility rooms and maintain inventory.
• Provide 1:1 attention to cognitively impaired residents.
• Deliver residents' mail and transport wheelchair-bound residents as needed.
• Respond promptly to call lights and exhibit excellent customer service.
• Communicate effectively within interdisciplinary team.
