Job summary

Allied Services is seeking a Resident Assistant in Scranton, PA. The role is primarily responsible for implementing programs for individuals in the Intermediate Care Facility, spending most time in direct contact with clients.

A high school diploma is preferred along with two years of relevant experience. CPR certification and a valid U.S. driver's license may be required. The Assistant will need good communication and interpersonal skills to engage with individuals and families effectively.

Qualifications

• Two years of experience working with intellectually or developmentally disabled individuals preferred.
• Must be cleared by PA State Police criminal history check.
• CPR certification must be obtained and maintained.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for carrying out assigned programs for individuals in the Intermediate Care Facility Program.
• Spend 85% of work time in direct individual contact.
• Adhere to company policies regarding safety and infection control.
