• Must be 21 years of age.
• Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos.
• Ability to write simple correspondence and present information to customers, clients, and staff.

Responsibilities

• Provide training and rehabilitation activities to residents as planned by the team.
• Enter data and document daily programs in residents' records.
• Communicate with the interdisciplinary team, family, and care providers about residents' status.
• Administer prescribed medications and document drug counts with nursing supervision.
• Maintain cleanliness of living units and assist with meals, shopping, and transportation.
• Assist in wheelchair transfers and lifting as needed.
• Attend scheduled staff and in-service meetings per California law and ARC policies.
• Maintain infection control practices and universal precautions.
• Maintain accurate documentation of residents' personal money and receipts.
• Coordinate therapeutic diets and menus as prescribed.
• Support social programs and leisure activities for residents.
