Job summary

Homestead-Village-of-Fairhope is seeking a dedicated Resident Care Assistant for day shift in Fairhope, Alabama. You will support residents with daily living activities, monitor health status, and report changes to nursing staff to ensure safety and comfort.

Qualifications include a high school diploma or equivalent, basic care knowledge, ability to pass background checks and health screenings, and preferably CPR/First Aid. Experience in long-term care and familiarity with EHR are a plus.

• Maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable living environment for residents by following established protocols.
• Support meal preparation and feeding assistance as needed, ensuring dietary requirements are met.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to implement individualized care plans effectively.
• Adhere to all health and safety regulations, including infection control procedures.
