Job summary

Sweetwater Care in Tampa, FL is seeking a Registered Nurse to deliver high-quality resident care in a clean, safe environment. You will develop and implement nursing care plans and collaborate with physicians, therapists, and nursing assistants to optimize outcomes.

You will make nursing diagnoses, record medication administration, supervise assigned staff to maintain safety and regulatory compliance, and perform other duties as directed.

Qualifications

• Active RN license
• Prior RN experience in a nursing community
• Desire to care for residents with integrity
• Ability to work flexible hours
• SNF/LTC experience preferred

Responsibilities

• Ensures proper resident care is maintained in a clean and safe environment.
• Develops and ensures the nursing care plan and collaborates with physicians, therapists, and nursing assistants
• Makes nursing diagnoses, which serve as the basis for the strategy of care
• Collaborates with the resident, members of the healthcare team
• Records the administration of medication
• Monitors assigned staff to ensure safety regulations are followed and that all tasks comply with regulations and safety procedures
• Follows procedures related to the use of nursing equipment and supplies
• Performs other duties as directed
