Avamere Skilled Advisors, LLC d/b/a Avamere Living is seeking a Resident Care Manager RN for a full-time role in Sequim, WA. You will oversee resident care, lead nursing staff, and develop care plans that align with resident needs and preferences.

The position requires an active RN license, a nursing degree, and at least one year of supervisory healthcare experience. EMR proficiency and knowledge of regulatory guidelines are essential for success.

Qualifications

• Must possess a nursing degree from an accredited college or university.
• Current, active RN license to practice in this state; BSN preferred.
• Minimum 1 year of supervisory experience in a healthcare setting.
• Knowledge of nursing practices, laws, regulations and guidelines for facilities.
• Experience with Electronic Medical Records and documentation systems.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and coordinate all aspects of resident care, including daily activities, personal care and medical needs.
• Develop and implement individualized care plans based on resident needs and preferences.
• Coordinate nursing services with other resident services to ensure continuity of care.
• Maintain open communication with residents, families, staff and healthcare professionals.
• Ensure compliance with regulations and facility policies.
• Monitor and evaluate quality of resident care to meet standards.
• Address and solve care issues and concerns promptly.
• Maintain accurate resident care records and participate in surveys.
• Collaborate with Medical Director to assure quality of care.
• Attend continuing education and provide leadership for staff training.

Description

Status: Full Time

Schedule: Monday - Friday, days

Wage: $110,240 - $131,040 annually DOE

Location: Avamere Olympic Rehabilitation of Sequim - 1000 S 5th Ave, Sequim, WA 98382

Essential Duties and Job Responsibilities

• Oversee and coordinate all aspects of resident care, including daily activities, personal care and medical needs.
• Develop and implement individualized care plans based on resident needs and preferences.
• Develop methods for coordination of nursing services with other resident services to ensure the continuity of the resident's total regimen of care.
• Maintain open and effective communication with residents, families, staff and other healthcare professionals.
• Ensure compliance with all applicable regulations and facility policies and procedures.
• Monitor and evaluate the quality of resident care to ensure it meets standards and expectations.
• Address and problem solve resident care issues and concerns in a timely and effective manner.
• Maintain accurate and comprehensive records of resident care.
• Participate in state and federal surveys of the facility; assist the Administrator in reviewing deficiencies and developing plans of correction.
• Collaborates with the Medical Director to assure quality of care.
• Attend continuing education programs designed to keep you abreast of changes in your profession and participate in/provide leadership for in-service training for nursing personnel.
• Create and uphold an atmosphere of warmth, patience, enthusiasm, and a calm and cheerful environment

Requirements

• Must possess a nursing degree from an accredited college or university.
• Must possess a current, unencumbered, active license to practice as a Registered Nurse RN in this state. BSN preferred.

Experience

• Must have a minimum of 1 year of experience as a supervisor in a healthcare setting.
• Knowledgeable of nursing and medical practices and procedures, as well as laws, regulations and guidelines that pertain to nursing care facilities.
• Experience with Electronic Medical Records and computer documentation systems.
