Job summary

Avamere Rehabilitation of Burien seeks a Resident Care Manager RN to supervise and coordinate resident care in a full-time daytime schedule. You will support the Director of Nursing, develop care plans, and ensure regulatory compliance, fostering a warm, patient-focused environment.

The role requires an active RN license, a nursing degree, and at least 1 year of supervisory experience in a healthcare setting; EMR experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• RN license in state of practice (active, unencumbered).

Schedule: Days, Mon-Fri

Wage: $110,000 - $130,000

Location: Avamere Rehabilitation of Burien - 1031 SW 130th St, Burien, WA

The Resident Care Manager RN supports the Director of Nursing in supervising, implementing, coordinating and managing resident care needs

Essential Duties And Job Responsibilities

• Oversee and coordinate all aspects of resident care, including daily activities, personal care and medical needs.
• Develop and implement individualized care plans based on resident needs and preferences.
• Develop methods for coordination of nursing services with other resident services to
• ensure the continuity of the resident's total regimen of care
• Maintain open and effective communication with residents, families, staff and other healthcare professionals.
• Ensure compliance with all applicable regulations and facility policies and procedures.
• Monitor and evaluate the quality of resident care to ensure it meets standards and expectations.
• Address and problem solve resident care issues and concerns in a timely and effective manner.
• Maintain accurate and comprehensive records of resident care
• Participate in state and federal surveys of the facility; assist the Administrator in reviewing deficiencies and developing plans of correction
• Collaborates with the Medical Director to assure quality of care
• Attend continuing education programs designed to keep you abreast of changes in your profession and participate in/provide leadership for in-service training for nursing personnel
• Create and uphold an atmosphere of warmth, patience, enthusiasm, and a calm and cheerful environment

Requirements

• Must possess a nursing degree from an accredited college or university
• Must possess a current, unencumbered, active license to practice as a Registered Nurse RN in this state. BSN preferred

Experience

• Must have a minimum of 1 year of experience as a supervisor in a healthcare setting
• Knowledgeable of nursing and medical practices and procedures, as well as laws, regulations and guidelines that pertain to nursing care facilities
• Experience with Electronic Medical Records and computer documentation systems
