Job summary

Ohana Pacific Health seeks a dedicated Resident Care Manager to supervise the nursing team and oversee a nursing unit's daily care delivery for residents in Kapolei, HI. You will keep the Director of Nursing informed and coordinate admissions, discharges, and transfers, ensuring smooth operations.

You will plan and supervise resident care, assess conditions, participate in planning conferences, monitor quality indicators, and contribute to continuous quality improvement and admission/discharge

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• Current Hawaii RN license required.
• At least three (3) years' experience in a hospital or a long term care facility.
• Supervisory experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Supervise nursing team and oversee operation of a nursing unit and the daily delivery of care to residents.
• Keeps Director of Nursing informed of progress and potential problems; coordinates unit admissions, discharges, and transfers.
• Plans, develops and organizes work tasks; coordinates, supervise and evaluates employees.
• Coordinates the unit's services and activities in consultation with the Director of Nursing; plans and supervises resident care.
