Job summary

Baruch Senior Ministries is seeking a dedicated Full-Time Resident Care Manager to join Hyde Park/Living Joy Assisted Living in Flushing, MI. You will oversee resident care, administer medications, and ensure adherence to care plans, dignity, and safety for a frail elderly population.

Qualifications

• A passion for our mission of caring for people as they age.
• A High School diploma or GED, Associates Degree preferred.
• At least six months recent experience as a caregiver.
• At least six months recent experience in medication administration.
• Must be able to operate medical equipment such as blood pressure cuffs, stethoscopes, diabetic equipment, needles, syringes, and any other medical equipment as needed to provide resident care.
• Excellent communication skills both verbal and written

Responsibilities

• As the Resident Care Manager, you will have the opportunity to provide and manage the care of residents.
• You will administer medications and treatments while ensuring proper procedures are being followed.
• Ensure residents are being treated with dignity and respect, provide quality care according to their individualized care plan, and ensure resident safety.
