Brookdale Senior Living in Bedford, TX, seeks a capable supervisor to oversee direct care staff and ensure residents receive respectful, dignified, homelike care. You will coordinate training, verify hours, and help manage schedules to meet resident needs within budget.

You will monitor health status, assist in medication management, and collaborate with health professionals. The role includes family communication and participation in quality improvement efforts.

Aufgaben

• Provides direct supervision of resident care staff, which includes monitoring job performance, coaching and counseling associates and conducting corrective action as needed.
• Coordinates training and education of resident care staff on an ongoing basis.
• Verifies all associate hours on time cards and weekly hours report; completes nursing schedules to assure proper coverage and budget alignment.
• Monitors resident health status and addresses concerns within scope of practice; reports changes to Health and Wellness Director.
• Assists in medication management, ordering medication and maintaining records per Brookdale policies.
• May administer medication to residents within scope of practice and review residents who self-administer medications.
• Observes residents, records significant reactions, and notifies leadership of conditions and incidents.
• Communicates with families regarding residents' needs and coordinates appointments.
• Maintains resident charts and participates in quality improvement activities.
