Brookdale is seeking a dedicated Health and Wellness Supervisor in Spokane to oversee direct resident care, supervise staff, and coordinate medication management and safety protocols. The role focuses on delivering respectful, home-like care while fostering independence and family communication.

Applicants should have strong leadership, clinical oversight, and the ability to manage schedules, training, and quality improvement efforts within a Brookdale community.

Responsibilities

• Provides direct supervision of resident care staff, which includes monitoring job performance, coordinating with community leadership on evaluations, coaching and counseling staff, and documenting corrective action as needed.
• Coordinates training and education of resident care staff on an ongoing basis.
• Verifies all associate hours on time cards and weekly hours report; creates nursing schedules to ensure proper coverage and budget adherence.
• Monitors residents’ health status, reports significant changes to Health and Wellness Director, and assists in medication management and documentation.
• Assists in organizing service plan reviews with resident care team and families.
• Participates in chart maintenance and quality improvement activities.
