Yona Solutions is seeking a Laundry Aide to join our team in Staunton, IL. The role focuses on washing, drying, folding, and distributing linens for residents and staff, while maintaining clean, organized laundry areas.

No experience is required but preferred; ability to follow instructions and work well with residents and coworkers is essential. This on-site position offers benefits and opportunities for growth within the facility.

Qualifications

• Follow written and oral instructions concerning cleaning chemicals and disinfectants.
• Ability to work independently.
• Flexibility, integrity, and a strong work ethic.
• Ability to work effectively with residents and personnel.
• Must provide a criminal background check.
• Laundry experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Transports laundry containers of soiled linen and clean linen carts.
• Operates commercial washing machines and dryers.
• Sorts and loads soiled linen into washers and loads clean, wet linens into dryers.
• Folds clean, dry linen and places into carts.
• Keeps accurate records of linen inventory.
• Washes, dries, folds and distributes customer clothing.
• Maintains equipment and laundry areas; keeps areas neat, orderly and safe.
• Follows all company policies and procedures.
• Checks stock and notifies supervisor of supply needs.
• Delivers laundry as specified.
• Puts customer service first, ensuring high-quality service in a caring environment.
