Eisenhower Center in Michigan seeks a kitchen/dietary aide to prep and serve meals for residents and staff, and to assist with daily kitchen tasks and nutritional support. Training is provided; experience with elderly residents is preferred but not required.

Must be reliable, able to lift up to 50 pounds, and pass a background check. Flexible schedule includes weekends and some holidays.

Formación

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Safe Serve Certification required.
• Experience with the elderly, CMH or TBI residents preferred (1 year).

Responsabilidades

• Prepare and serve meals to residents and staff.
• Follow pre-planned menus to meet caloric needs.
• Follow safety and food handling procedures and regulations.
• Complete tasks in a timely manner and assist with dietary needs.
• Provide nutritional supplements as directed by the RD.
• Perform daily/weekly kitchen cleaning (refrigerators, freezers, surfaces).
• Assist with breakfast and lunch service and beverage distribution.
• Track inventory and place weekly orders for food and supplies.
• Receive and store food following FIFO procedures.
• Label and store all food per health standards.
