ADP, Inc. is seeking a Direct Support Professional for the Grand Rapids, MI AFC Home. The DSP will assist individuals with developmental disabilities, support daily living skills and promote independence within a structured program.

The role requires a high school diploma, a Michigan driver’s license, and the ability to relate to residents. You will participate in activities, accompany outings, supervise routines, and coordinate with home staff to maintain a safe, respectful living environment.

Qualifikationen

• Minimum of a high school diploma.
• Ability to relate to persons with disabilities.
• Awareness of psycho-social and physical needs of persons with developmental disabilities.
• Valid Michigan Driver’s License with good driving history.

Aufgaben

• Assist in planning and implementing individual program goals designed to promote maximum independence.
• Assist in training of self-care skills and supervise daily self-care activities.
• Assist each resident as necessary in all activities of daily living.
• Assist residents in planning and utilizing leisure time activities, including community outings.
• Perform daily domestic chores to keep the group home neat and orderly.
