As our new Resident Care Director, you’ll play an integral role in leading a dedicated team, enhancing the quality of care, and ensuring that every resident, family, and staff member feels valued, supported, and well-cared for. We seek a seasoned, clinically sound LPN or RN with proven industry experience and leadership background to help strengthen our care team, foster a positive culture, and promote stability. This pivotal role demands a hands-on, results-driven leader ready to make a tangible difference in the lives of our seniors and team. Schedule:
  • Monday through Friday, typically 8:30 AM - 5 PM
  • Rotating Manager on duty every 6 weeks on weekends
  • This management role requires flexibility and adaptability. The ideal candidate must be prepared to address call-offs and ensure coverage during unexpected absences.

  • Candidates must be 21 years or older.
  • Valid LPN license in good standing with the state licensing authority.
  • 5+ years of clinical nursing experience, preferably within the senior living industry. Strong leadership and employee relations skills, including team management, staff development, and fostering a positive, collaborative work environment.
  • Experience with memory-impaired residents is preferred.
  • Demonstrates clarity and effectiveness in communication. Maintains a professional appearance and demeanor, representing the community with confidence, respect, and a sense of urgency.
  • Technical proficiency in managing electronic health records (EHR), care planning software, healthcare technologies, and MS Office.
WHAT YOU WILL DO!
  • Recruit, manage, and direct resident care staff
  • Complete scheduling for resident care staff
  • Orient, monitor, and reinforce training of staff
  • Complete all required documentation and implement new regulations
  • Participate as part of the management team
  • Audit medication administration reports and communicate with pharmacies
  • Develop and implement resident care plans
  • Coordinate care services and consult with families and physicians
  • Communicate with medical professionals regarding residents’ treatments
