Job summary

Midwest Health Inc. in Overland Park, KS seeks a Resident Care Coordinator (RCC) to lead our nursing team under the Executive Director's supervision.

The ideal candidate must be a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) with supervision experience and a strong understanding of Kansas and Federal regulations governing admissions and resident rights. This is a full-time role with competitive pay and employee-friendly environment.

Qualifications

• Must be a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN).
• Experience supervising nursing staff.
• Familiar with Kansas and Federal regulations relevant to resident care.

Responsibilities

• Review and supervise compliance with policies pertaining to total patient care, including meal service, activities, housekeeping and laundry, and personnel under directives from the Executive Director.
• Monitor compliance with all state and federal regulations including bloodborne pathogens, infection control, hazardous materials, and resident rights.
• Assist residents with admission and ensure compliance with Kansas and Federal admission requirements.
• Provide care and compassion to foster residents' physical and emotional well-being.

As an RCC, you will work under the general supervision of the Executive Director to:

• Review and supervise compliance with policies pertaining to total patient care, including but not limited to meal service, activities, housekeeping and laundry, personnel and public relations under specific directives from the Executive Director. Explain policies to staff and other concerned parties.
• Monitor personal and staff compliance with all state and federal regulations including bloodborne pathogens, infection control, hazardous materials, resident rights and other applicable areas.
• Assist residents with admission and assure compliance with all Kansas and Federal requirements regarding admission, to include but limit to initial Advance Directives, Resident Rights information, and assessments as required.
• Provide care and compassion to foster the resident’s physical and emotional well-being
