Charter Senior Living in North Carolina is seeking a compassionate Resident Care Coordinator (RCC) with experience in assisted living or memory care to lead frontline caregiving teams and support daily resident care operations.

The RCC partners with the Health & Wellness Director to ensure quality care, regulatory compliance, and resident satisfaction, while nurturing a positive environment for residents, families, and staff.

Qualifications

• Experience in assisted living, memory care, or senior living leadership preferred.
• CNA, Medication Technician, LPN, or related healthcare experience per state requirements preferred.
• Strong organizational, communication, and multitasking skills.

Responsibilities

• Support the daily operations of resident care services within the community.
• Assist with scheduling, supervision, and support of caregiving staff.
• Monitor quality of care and resident wellbeing.
• Support onboarding, coaching, and performance development of care associates.
• Partner with Health & Wellness Director to maintain compliance with community policies and state regulations.
• Communicate resident needs and condition changes appropriately.
• Assist with care coordination and implementation of resident care plans.
• Promote resident dignity, independence, and quality of life.
• Build positive relationships with residents, families, and team members.

Position Summary

The Resident Care Coordinator (RCC) is responsible for supporting the daily operations of resident care services while helping ensure quality care, resident satisfaction, regulatory compliance, and strong team performance within the Assisted Living community.

This role partners closely with the Health & Wellness Director (HWD) to oversee frontline caregiving teams through scheduling, coaching, training, support, and operational coordination.

The RCC plays a key role in promoting Charter Senior Living's mission, core values, and resident-centered care philosophy while helping create a positive environment for residents, families, and associates.

The ideal candidate is compassionate, organized, dependable, and passionate about leading caregiving teams while enhancing resident quality of life.

Responsibilities

• Support the daily operations of resident care services within the community

• Assist with scheduling, supervision, and support of caregiving staff
