Oakmont Management Group manages a premier senior living community in California and is seeking a Resident Care Coordinator to oversee resident care and staffing to meet residents’ needs.

The role involves coordinating care with physicians and nurses, recruiting and scheduling care staff, and maintaining a safe, teamwork-driven environment across shifts, including holidays and weekends. Benefits are offered to eligible team members.

Qualifications

• Must be at least eighteen years old.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Prefer one year of experience supervising and managing employees.
• Ability to effectively train staff.
• Flexibility in work schedule including holidays, evenings, weekends, and extra shifts.
• Able to operate a PC and use MS Office programs.

Responsibilities

• Communicate with community healthcare professionals, including physicians, discharge planners, nurses, and state agencies on residents' care needs.
• Assist Health Services Director in coordinating incidental medical, dental, vision, hearing, and podiatry care and arrange resident escorts as needed.
• Participate in the community’s resident assessment program per company policy and state regulations.
• Recruit, develop, manage and schedule Care Providers and Medication Technicians.
• Maintain a safe and secure environment for all staff, residents, and guests per safety standards.
• Encourage teamwork through cooperative interactions with co-workers and other departments.
