Responsibilities/Qualifications

Oakleigh of Macomb Senior Living Facility is seeking a Resident Care Coordinator. We need a leader who can care for residents, manage staff, and handle manager-on-call responsibilities as needed. The ideal candidate should be communicative with families, team-oriented, and supportive of the Executive Director.

Duties include:

  • Collaborate with families, management, and care staff on operations, priorities, and job assignments.
  • Monitor departments, communicate policies, evaluate performance, and provide coaching and discipline as necessary.
  • Ensure compliance with State Regulations and maintain survey readiness.
  • Monitor labor costs.
  • Exercise independent judgment, problem-solving, and innovative thinking.
  • Track attendance and administer disciplinary actions appropriately.
  • Enforce policies and procedures.
  • Supervise caregivers and med techs on the floor.
  • Manage multiple shifts and create staff schedules.
  • Interview, recommend hires, and orient new staff.
  • Support the Manager with various projects as needed.

Requirements:

  • Experience leading a senior living community.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office.
  • Ability to provide personal care to residents when necessary.
