Tutera Senior Living & Health Care is seeking a dedicated Resident Care Coordinator to oversee the Thrive program and coordinate with Life Enrichment staff in The Lumiere of Chesterfield. This full-time role focuses on compassionate memory-care support for residents with dementia.

Ideal candidates have at least two years of dementia care experience, one year of supervisory experience, and strong customer service, organization, and communication skills to lead a compassionate, professional team.

Qualifications

• Minimum of two years of experience working with individuals with Alzheimer’s disease or dementia, with at least one year of supervisory experience.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the Thrive program daily and coordinate with Life Enrichment Coordinators, Assistants and direct care team members.
• Provide general oversight of the Courtyard community in collaboration with the Administrator and Health Care Coordinator.
• Work with Life Enrichment and direct care staff to maintain a functional and appropriate program.

What Will You Do in This Role?

As a Resident Care Coordinator, you are responsible for ensuring the Thrive program is implemented daily and facilitated by Life Enrichment Coordinators, Life Enrichment Assistants, and direct care team members. The Resident Care Coordinator is also responsible for the general oversight of the Courtyard community in cooperation with the Administrator and Health Care Coordinator. As a Resident Care Coordinator, you will work closely with the Life Enrichment team and direct care staff to ensure a functional and appropriate program.

Do You Have What It Takes?

• A fire and passion for working with seniors
• A flexible, fun, and energetic personality
• Must have a minimum of two years of experience working with individuals with Alzheimer’s disease or dementia, with at least one year of supervisory experience
• Prior background in senior living, social work, recreational therapy, or nursing preferred
• Excellent customer service and organizational skills required
• Must be able to demonstrate good judgement, prioritization of duties, and effective problem-solving skills
• Knowledge of dementia and Alzheimer’s progression in older adults required
• Professional image in both appearance and behavior
• Excellent written and oral communication skills
