Job summary

QSL Management is seeking a dedicated Resident Care Coordinator for Glenncrest at Buckhead. You will work with the Director of Wellness to oversee daily operations in the wellness/nursing care department and ensure high-quality resident care.

The role requires an LPN with at least two years of nursing experience, CPR and First Aid certification; willingness to cover diverse shifts including nights, weekends and holidays; and a passion for guiding caregivers and building a positive team culture.

Qualifications

• Must have a caring heart, willing to serve others
• Current state LPN license
• Two years of nursing experience
• Current CPR certification
• Bachelor's degree in Nursing from accredited nursing college or university (Preferred)
• Current First Aid certification (preferred)
• Experience in Assisted Living or Long-term care (preferred)
• Experience in dementia care (Preferred)
• Must be flexible and prepared to assist on a variety of shifts including nights, weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Works with Director of Wellness to ensure effective and efficient daily operations within the wellness (Nursing Care) department.
• Maintain current tasks lists for caregivers, and update timely as ADL changes occur.
• Scheduling the care-plan dates according to state regulation guidelines.
• Fill in for Medication Tech or Caregiver on occasion
• Work as a Manager-On Duty as directed by Executive Director
• Handle staffing schedule to meet resident's needs, state requirements, budget and census while promptly addressing shortages to ensure adequate staffing.
• Directly supervises nursing and personal care staff in the management of resident well-being and care.
• Assists with the on-boarding and training of new wellness staff
• Builds a positive culture in the wellness department by actively providing care alongside team members.
• Assesses the health, functional and psycho-social status of residents and proactively manages their care
• Ensures superior care and promotes service excellence.
• Works with Director of Wellness to ensure that the community meets all Federal and State guidelines and requirements.
