Danbury does not require employees to be vaccinated. Pay rate for this position starts at $16.00.

We are currently seeking applicants for Resident Care Companion and STNA positions. This role is also known as State Tested Nursing Assistant, CNA, Certified Nursing Assistant, Nursing Aide, Nurse’s Aide, and Care Provider.

What do Resident Care Companions and STNAs do at Danbury?

  • Interact with residents and engage in daily activities of living.
  • Assist with personal care routines such as bathing, showering, and hygiene.
  • Help residents prepare for and accompany them to meals, activities, social programs, and appointments.
  • Assist with other daily needs as required.

What experience or skills are needed?

  • STNA certification required for STNA roles.
  • No certification needed for Resident Care Companion roles.
  • Experience in a senior living setting is helpful but not required.
  • A cheerful disposition, positive outlook, and love for seniors are essential.
