Job summary

CarDon is seeking a dedicated Beautician/Barber to provide haircuts, styling, shaving and grooming services to residents across our Indiana communities. You will deliver high-quality care in a clean, safe environment and tailor services to individual resident needs with professionalism and empathy.

Minimum qualifications include a valid cosmetology or barbering license, liability insurance, and knowledge of infection control.

Qualifications

• Certification or diploma from an accredited cosmetology or barbering program.
• Valid state or local license to practice as a beautician or barber.
• Professional liability insurance required.
• Knowledge of infection control and sanitation standards in a salon/healthcare setting.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills for diverse residents.

Responsibilities

• Provide professional hair cutting, styling, shaving, and grooming services tailored to resident preferences.
• Consult residents to understand needs and recommend treatments.
• Provide services per state certification/licensure.
• Provide Administrator with a weekly schedule for services.
• Maintain itemized records of services and charges for billing.
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of tools, equipment, and work areas.
