Job summary

The Pearl at East Cobb is hiring Resident Care Associates to join their team. The Resident Care Associate provides hands-on care and supports residents in our assisted living and memory care neighborhoods, following each PSP to ensure safety and comfort.

Reporting to the Family Experience Director or the Pearl Director, the RCA demonstrates wellness, adheres to standards, and promotes the highest quality of care for residents and families.

Qualifications

• High school education preferred.
• Experience with elders or disabled individuals preferred.
• Must be at least 18 years old to perform personal care tasks.
• Knowledge of Assisted Living and Dementia care preferred.
• Ability to work weekends, evenings, and flexible hours.

Responsibilities

• Develop and update Personalized Service Plans; attend plan reviews with families.
• Follow the hydration schedule established for residents.
• Complete meal attendance sheets; arrange room service if not dining.
• Know and comply with all resident rights.
• Initiate and assist with activities as appropriate.
• Check residents daily for cleanliness, clothing, continence, and condition changes.
• Use proper sanitary procedures and universal precautions.
• Check assigned rooms for cleanliness; double-check high-risk rooms.
• Assist with laundry and common areas; address hazards with housekeeping.
• Complete all ADLs per each resident's PSP.
• Respond promptly to security systems and resident call bells.
