We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Resident Care Associate to join our assisted living community in Berryville, VA. The ideal candidate will provide high-quality care and support to our residents, ensuring their comfort, safety, and well-being in a warm and respectful environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist residents with daily living activities including bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility.
• Provide compassionate support and companionship to residents, promoting a positive and engaging community atmosphere.
• Monitor and report changes in residents' physical or emotional condition to nursing staff.
• Help with meal preparation and feeding as needed, ensuring dietary requirements are met.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable living environment for residents.
• Assist with medication reminders and other health-related tasks under supervision.
• Collaborate with team members to deliver personalized care plans tailored to each resident's needs.
• Follow all facility policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements related to assisted living care.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a Resident Care Associate or in assisted living preferred.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a genuine passion for helping others.
• Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a care team.
• Basic knowledge of resident care practices and safety protocols.
• CPR and First Aid certification is a plus.
