Job summary

Avera Brady Assisted Living in Mitchell, SD is seeking a Resident Assistant to provide personal care to residents as outlined in their care plans. This part-time, PRN position requires rotating days, evenings, nights and weekends with shifts 6:00am-2:30pm or 2:00pm-10:30pm.

You will assist with meals, medications, housekeeping and daily living activities, respect residents’ belongings, and report changes in condition.

Qualifications

• High School or GED required or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Assists residents with daily living activities including meals, medications, housekeeping and laundry.
• Respects residents' belongings and personal property.
• Reports changes in residents’ condition or behavior.
• Answers call lights and assists with or directs activities.
• Maintains a clean and sanitary environment across resident rooms and common areas.
