At Pinecrest Retirement Community, part of Methodist Retirement Communities, we’re looking for kind, dependable, and patient Resident Care Assistants to join our Assisted Living team—where every day is an opportunity to make a meaningful impact.

We are currently seeking a Resident Care Assistant to work the evening shift (2pm-10pm).

The Resident Care Assistant will:

  • Administer the care of residents under the supervision of licensed staff and assist professional nursing staff by performing routine tasks in the care of residents.
  • Offer companionship and reassurance through meaningful engagement.
  • Assist with mealtimes and help residents stay active and involved in community life.
  • Help create a calm, secure, and enriching environment for those living with dementia or Alzheimer’s.
  • Lead and coordinate various types of activities and programs for the residents.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of care plans.

Qualifications
  • High school graduate or equivalent is desired.
  • Two years of resident care experience, preferably as a hospital or long-term care nursing assistant.
  • Must have a working knowledge of basic patient care procedures.
  • Basic computer skills.
