Job summary

Ohio Living Cape May is seeking a dedicated Resident Assistant to provide routine personal care, meal support, and recreational activities for residents in a compassionate, compliant setting.

You will assist with daily living tasks, monitor residents’ well-being, and report changes to nursing staff while following established guidelines and safety procedures. This on-site role supports a warm, resident-centered environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Experience in a long-term care or other related healthcare setting preferred.
• Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand English.

Responsibilities

• Care and Customer Management: carry out daily plan of care, assist residents with meals, provide medication reminders.
• Administration and Reporting: maintain accurate records and inform the Charge Nurse of needs.
• Operations Management: perform light housekeeping and follow infection control policies.
• Attend all meetings and in-service trainings as scheduled.
