Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent. (Required)
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Previous experience in a personal care home, assisted living, healthcare, or senior living environment (Preferred)
• Previous direct care or caregiving experience (Preferred)

Responsibilities

• Provide ADL assistance including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and mobility per care plans.
• Promote independence, dignity, privacy, and comfort while delivering care.
• Offer emotional support, companionship, cueing, supervision, and redirection.
• Assist with transfers using proper body mechanics and safety equipment.
• Conduct routine rounds, wellness checks, and safety observations.
• Document care and services accurately per policy and regulatory requirements.
• Communicate with residents, families, supervisors, and providers professionally.
• Attend training and participate in shift handovers and team meetings.
