Navion Senior Solutions' Cypress Square in Summerville, SC is seeking a compassionate Resident Care Aide for 3rd shift (10p-6a). You will assist residents with daily living activities, help with meals, and support a warm, home-like environment.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED accepted; may be required per state regulations.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Positive attitude and flexibility to perform various duties in service to residents.
• Dedication to serving seniors with excellent customer service.
• Previous experience with seniors preferred.
• Ability to make decisions in the resident’s best interest.
• Written and verbal communication; solid organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with activities of daily living (ADLs) including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, mobility and incontinence care.
• Prepare residents for meals, snacks and activities and assist in dining.
• Respond to resident emergency call system promptly.
• Observe, document and report changes to residents’ condition to the care team.
• Communicate with residents and families in a polite, professional manner.
• Maintain required resident care documentation per state regulations and Navion policies.
• Transport residents when required.
