Overview

Cypress Square, a community of Navion Senior Living, is seeking Certified Medication Technicians for medication administration-related roles. This is a Full-Time opportunity on the 2nd shift (2PM-10PM) in a cutting‑edge Assisted Living Community.

Responsibilities
  • Demonstrate a positive working relationship with residents, family members, and staff.
  • Promote and protect residents’ rights and treat residents with dignity and respect.
  • Attend in‑service and education programs and obtain continuing education required by state regulations.
  • Remain calm under stressful conditions.
  • Maintain confidentiality of residents’ information in compliance with HIPAA guidelines.
  • Maintain professional appearance by adherence to the community dress code.
  • Complete documentation in an informative and descriptive manner.
  • Report all changes in a resident’s condition to the supervisor as soon as possible.
  • Complete work schedules and assigned tasks according to the community’s policies and procedures.
  • Operate equipment safely, using only equipment that has been previously trained for.
  • Utilize infection control precautions and practices with all activities.
  • Demonstrate knowledge of fire and emergency procedures.
  • Report all safety violations.
Qualifications
  • High School diploma.
  • Minimum age of 18 years.
  • Successful completion of a State‑Approved Medication Aide course.
  • Personal Care Assistant or Certified Nursing Certification required.
  • Ability to express oneself adequately in written and oral communication and to communicate effectively in an interdisciplinary care setting with residents, families, and staff members.
  • Ability to work in an environment conducive to caring for seniors without posing a substantial safety or health threat to self or others.
  • Ability to work well with others and promote a team environment.
