Responsibilities

• Assist residents with activities of daily living including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and transferring.
• Participate in housekeeping/laundry tasks to maintain a clean and safe environment.
• Assist with dining services: plating, serving, and aiding with feeding as needed.
• Support life enrichment activities; escort residents and participate in family/social events.
• Report changes in resident condition to the nurse on duty and document statuses.
• Apply infection control practices and monitor safety in the resident environment.
• Take part in resident admissions and respond promptly to call lights and pendant alarms.
• Conduct rounds of care areas to ensure resident wellbeing and safety.
• Provide emergency response within scope of practice and complete assignments thoroughly.
