Avera St Benedict Assisted Living is seeking a Resident Assistant for a PRN/as-needed role. You will support residents with daily living, meals, medications, housekeeping, and personal care per care plans in a compassionate team setting.

Responsibilities include rounds, responding to call lights, assisting with activities, and maintaining a sanitary dining and living environment. Strong communication and attention to safety are essential.

Qualifications

• High School or GED equivalent required.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work in a team.
• Ability to understand and follow care plans and instructions.

Responsibilities

• Assists the resident with all facets of daily living including meals, medications, housekeeping and laundry.
• Reports changes observed in residents’ condition or behavior and responds to call lights.
• Keeps environment clean and tidy and prepares rooms for admission, transfer, and discharge.
