Job summary

Soar Autism Center is seeking a Resident BCBA to design and implement naturalistic ABA for children ages 2-6 in a center-based setting with an option for a hybrid work schedule.

You will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, use ESDM strategies, and participate in ongoing onboarding and training. A Master’s in ABA or related field and BCBA certification are required, with opportunities for clinical growth and leadership paths.

Responsibilities

  • Design and implement individualized, naturalistic ABA for preschool children in a center.

  • Apply ESDM-informed strategies and provide training.
  • Conduct standardized assessments and track progress with data.
  • Partner with families through guidance and support.
  • Maintain a manageable caseload focused on depth of care.

Soar Autism Center is excited to offer a unique Resident BCBA position with competitive relocation bonuses, designed for passionate and motivated Board-Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBAs) looking for a meaningful professional opportunity. This role offers a chance to grow your career while supporting children with autism in a collaborative, play-based environment using the Early Start Denver Model (ESDM). This is an in-person role, for BCBAs who are open to a hybrid, in-center work environment

Relocation Incentives:
  • Up to $10,000 relocation bonus upon joining with a 1-year commitment to remain in Arizona.
  • An additional $5,000 bonus awarded at the 1-year mark for those who extend their residency to 18 months.
Compensation And Role Design
  • Base pay: $86,000.00 - $113,500.00/year. Annual performance bonus potential up to $3,800. Additional compensation beyond the range for achieving clinical certifications
  • Caseload: 7-9 children per BCBA, designed for depth and quality of care
  • Hybrid: 1 work-from-home day per week for each BCBA, with some opportunity for 2 work-from-home days, depending on center maturity, clinical needs, and team coordination.
  • Support and training: Deep onboarding and ongoing training in our ESDM-based care model, with close clinical leadership support

Job Responsibilities
  • Design and implement individualized, naturalistic ABA for children ages 2-6 in a center-based setting
  • Collaborate with a dynamic interdisciplinary clinical team (SLP, OT, psychology, developmental pediatrics) on assessments and integrated treatment plans
  • Use ESDM-informed strategies (we provide training, ESDM experience not required)
  • Conduct standardized assessments, track progress, and adjust plans based on data
  • Partner with families through clear guidance, compassionate communication, and practical support
  • Maintain a manageable caseload focused on depth of care, not volume
Qualifications
  • Master’s degree in Applied Behavior Analysis, Special Education, or a related field
  • Current BCBA certification
  • ABA early intervention experience
  • Preferred: background in Child Development, Early Childhood Education, or a related field
