Modern Family Law is seeking 3Ls and recent graduates taking the February 2027 or July 2027 Bar exams to join the MFL Academy Residency Program in our Georgia offices (Atlanta or Savannah). The role is hybrid, and you must sit for the Bar and reside in the state where you are applying.

Residency provides training in family law and courtroom advocacy, mentorship from the Learning & Development department and legal teams, and a clear path to an Associate Attorney position after passing the Bar.

Qualifications

• Juris Doctor from ABA-accredited law school.
• Register for the upcoming February or July Bar exam.
• Attain a passing score on the MPRE before sitting for the Bar.
• Timely submission and approval of Character & Fitness application by the State Bar.
• Experience in Family Law Clinics is a plus.
• Mock Trial experience is a plus.
• Submission of cover letter, law school transcript, and responses to candidate questionnaire.

Responsibilities

• Direct client contact and case management on matters involving divorce, child custody, financial support, and more.
• Learn and develop litigation skills early in your career with mentorship from the MFL team.
• Transition to an MFL Associate Attorney position upon passing the Bar.

Compensation and Benefits:Salary Range$66,560-$110,700.This range is areasonably reliableestimate of the salary that this individual is expected toreceive. Actual pay will be adjusted based on experience, location, and other job-related factorspermittedby law.
