Summary

Provides care to assigned residents in a caring, safe, and efficient manner, following location standards, procedures, and individualized resident care plans. Participates in structured training sessions to acquire skills for certification to provide higher levels of resident care, depending on the location.

Job Responsibilities

1. Assist residents with outerwear, shoes, and maintaining a neat appearance.
2. Ensure residents' spiritual needs are met and assist with passing snacks, trays, and beverages, maintaining a pleasant dining atmosphere.
3. Safeguard residents' property and keep living areas pleasant and orderly.
4. Support residents' independence and privacy, respecting their self-esteem and confidentiality.
5. Document care provided, observe and report residents' conditions, and communicate effectively with team members.
6. Assist residents socially and respond promptly to their requests, maintaining positive relationships with residents, families, and staff.
7. Seek clarification on assignments, ask questions, and provide clear, concise communication both orally and in writing.
8. Complete documentation as required, share work-related information, and keep supervisors informed.
9. Follow safety and infection control procedures to ensure a safe environment.
