Job summary

Great Lakes Management in Bloomington, MN, seeks a Resident Assistant to provide hands-on care for residents in a long-term care setting. Shift 6am-2pm with a pay range of $17-$25 per hour at Amira Choice Bloomington.

Responsibilities include helping with ADLs, coordinating with the nursing team, documenting daily notes, and engaging residents in activities. CNA preferred; prior long-term care experience is a plus in a supportive team environment.

Qualifications

• Six months of experience in long term care or assisted living residence.
• Registered as a Nursing Assistant or CNA (Preferred).
• Ability to make responsible choices in the resident's best interests.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with ADL's (Activities of Daily Living) as indicated on the individualized service agreement
• Help each resident to reach and maintain the highest level of performance and independence.
• Provide residents with both physical and emotional support.
• Assist with treatments as delegated by the Registered Nurse per the resident service agreement
• The Resident Assistant observes clients and reports changes in physical and emotional condition such as change in attitude, loss of appetite, weight, etc. to the case manager.
• Interactwith residents to provide reassurance, engagement, and redirection as appropriate.
• Complete all required documentation daily, service schedule, flow sheet, communication book, etc.

Resident Assistant Job Objective(s):

The Resident Assistant is responsible for providing hands -on care, both physical and emotional, as outlined in each resident's service agreement.
