Job Title: Caregiver
Location: Minnehaha Residence,1976 Minnehaha Ave E Saint Paul, MN 55119
Job Type: Full-Time, Part-Time
Salary: $15.50 - $18.50 per hour
Shift: Friday: 3:15pm-11:15pm --- Saturday/Sunday: 7:15am-3:15pm/3:15pm-11:15pm
Medication Assistance: Assist clients in taking their prescribed medication.
Mobility Assistance: Assist clients with ambulation and mobility throughout the facility.
Personal Care: Provide assistance with personal hygiene and care.
Physical Therapy Support: Help clients perform their physical therapy exercises as directed.
Meal Preparation: Plan and prepare meals with the support of the House Manager and RN.
Light Housekeeping: Perform household tasks that clients may need help with.
Companionship: Be a friendly, supportive, and empathetic companion for the clients.
High School Diploma (minimum required).
At least 6 months of experience as a caregiver (CNA/HHA/PCA/RA/NAR).
Prior experience in an Assisted Living facility is preferred.
Ability to pass a background check through the MN Department of Health and Human Services.
Reliable transportation to and from work.
Compassionate attitude towards the care and well-being of others.
Adequate reading, writing, and speaking skills in English.
Good communication skills to interact effectively with others.
Ability to lift 50-75 pounds, including transferring individuals.
Ability to perform delegated nursing tasks as assigned.
Capable of responding to emergencies following company procedures and guidelines.
Ability to sit, stand, stoop, bend, reach, push, and pull as required by the job.
Paid on-the-job training.
