Job summary

Otterbein SeniorLife is seeking a caring Resident Assistant to support residents with daily living activities in a compassionate, team‑oriented environment.

You will work with nurses and other Partners to deliver person‑centered care across independent living, assisted living and memory support at Otterbein communities in Ohio, starting pay of $15.00/hour with gradual increases based on experience, and a variety of shifts including full-time, part-time and PRN.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Certification not required.
• Experience with activities of daily living is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with ADLs, including teeth care, toileting, bathing, incontinence and dressing.
• Provide supervision or non-weight-bearing assistance related to transfer ambulation as needed.
• Communicate, coordinate and cooperate with resident needs and team structure.
• Work under the supervision and direction of the nurse in charge.
• Respond to emergency calls from Independent Living residents as directed by the nurse in charge.
• Assist residents with various other daily needs as necessary.

Job Types: Full-time and Part-time 1st shift, 2nd shift & PRN

Pay: Starting from $15.00/Hr, increases with experience

Responsibilities:

• Assist residents with ADLs, including teeth care, toileting, bathing, incontinence and dressing in a caring and supportive manner as needed per resident
• Provide supervision, cueing or other non-weight-bearing assistance related to transfer ambulation as needed per resident
• Communicate, coordinate and cooperate with resident needs and team structure
• Work as a team under the supervision and direction of the nurse in charge
• Quickly respond to emergency calls from Independent Living residents as directed by the nurse in charge
• Assist residents with various other daily needs as necessary.

Qualifications:

• Education: High school diploma or equivalent preferred
