Job summary

Koelsch Communities is seeking a compassionate Caregiver for Meadowbrook memory care in Arlington, TX, in a part-time role with shifts available. Compensation ranges from $16 to $17 per hour, depending on experience, with a CNA certification program covered by the employer.

The position includes comprehensive benefits for full-time staff and select benefits for part-time employees. You will assist residents with daily activities, provide personal care, and help maintain a safe, respectful

• Must be drug-free and pass screening.
• CPR/First-Aid certification as needed per policy.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with activities of daily living including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, eating, transferring, and mobility.
• Engage residents in conversation, socialization, and activities while providing personal care.
• Respond promptly to resident needs and obtain assistance as necessary.
• Keep the environment safe and clean for residents.
• Observe resident rights at all times.
• Observe changes in residents’ condition and report to a licensed nurse.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

You pride yourself in providing exceptional hospitality and personal assistance. This role delivers in a safe and efficient manner the highest quality individualized assistance program to all residents.

What You'll Do

• Assist residents with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, eating, transferring, and mobility
• Engage residents in meaningful conversation, socialization, and activity while providing personal care assistance
• Respond to all resident needs and/or requests for care promptly, and provide or obtain assistance with care as necessary
• Keep the environment safe and clean for residents
• Observe and uphold resident rights at all times
• Observe residents for changes in physical, emotional, mental, or behavioral condition, unusual symptoms, accidents, injuries, or unusual occurrences, and report promptly to a licensed nurse
• Perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications

• Must be drug‑free and submit to drug screening upon hire
• Must be able to gain CPR/ First‑Aid certification as needed in accordance with company policy and applicable state rules and regulations.
• Must be able to pass a criminal background check upon hire and as required by state regulations
