A senior living community is seeking a compassionate and eager Resident Assistant. In this full-time role, you will assist residents with daily living activities and engage with the elderly population. Successful candidates will hold a high school diploma and possess certifications in First Aid and CPR.

Full Time, 6a-2p, includes every other weekend

Starting Pay: $16.00/hr

The Resident Assistant provides assistance to residents in a manner that meets or exceeds community expectations. You may be required to respond to emergency calls and situations; document and report care provided; and transport residents to various functions or locations. Familiarity and willingness to work with elderly population is essential for this role.

  • Provide assistance with activities of daily living such as grooming, oral hygiene, bath/shower, hair, and maintaining resident apartments
  • Document and report care provided and resident observations
  • Obtain vital signs, heights, and weights.

Qualifications:
Qualifications

To be successful in this position, we believe that you need the following experiences and skills:

  • A big smile, eagerness to learn, and compassion for our Residents
  • If you are under the age of 18, you must provide proper schoolwork authorization (if applicable)
  • Must complete all state educational requirements, CPR is preferred
  • A First Aid certification and Heimlich Maneuver training, may be facilitated by the company
  • High School diploma or equivalent is required
  • All state educational requirements for the position must be met.
  • Experience working with an elderly population, particularly memory care is preferred.
