This role involves maintaining amenities and apartment interiors, preparing units for new residents, and ensuring ongoing maintenance of occupied units.

This opportunity is suitable for candidates experienced in painting, plumbing, electrical, appliance repair, and carpentry. Knowledge of landscaping, irrigation troubleshooting, and maintaining curb appeal is also required.

Candidates should possess strong communication skills to address resident needs, work independently with urgency, and be solutions-oriented. Willingness to learn new technology is essential. Certifications for HVAC and pool maintenance may be required.

This position requires working at the community where the team member resides.

Essential Functions
  • Follow checklists, schedules, service requests, logs, and instructions.
  • Manage service requests, update records, and ensure warranty compliance.
  • Maintain inventory and requisition supplies.
  • Conduct move-in/move-out inspections and orient residents.
  • Respond to punch lists, perform repairs, and maintain appliances and fixtures.
  • Perform painting, landscaping, cleaning, pool maintenance, irrigation repairs, and preventive maintenance routines.
  • Assist with appliance movement, maintain property grounds, and perform on-call duties, including emergency responses during hurricanes and alarms.
Qualifications
Knowledge and Experience
  • Proficiency with mathematical and schematic interpretation, using various measuring instruments.
  • High School Diploma or GED required.
  • Applied trades training in mechanics, electrical, HVAC, and plumbing.
  • Certifications such as Pool Operator and EPA may be required.
  • Fluent in English for safety and communication.
  • Over three years of relevant experience with technical systems and documentation.
