Job summary

The Waters is seeking a Resident Assistant to provide compassionate daily living support to residents under nurse supervision. The RA delivers personal care, assists with dining and homemaking, and collaborates with the care team to follow the Waters Way.

Qualifications include a high-school diploma (preferred), nursing/resident assistant experience (preferred), and basic computer skills for EHRs. English proficiency is required, with flexibility in shifts and strong teamwork encouraged.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
• Experience in nursing or resident assistant care is preferred.
• Ability to read, write, and speak English.
• Basic computer skills to use electronic health record systems.

Responsibilities

• Provides personal care services including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, positioning, transferring, and other care as designated.
• Assist residents in dining.
• Provides homemaking tasks.
• Responds to and reports changes in resident's health status and/or any recommendations for changes that should be made to the resident plan of care.
• Completes thorough daily charting.
• Collaborates with other team members within the community to deliver The Waters Way.
• Other duties as assigned
