Job summary

The Waters is seeking a caring Resident Assistant to support residents with daily living activities under nurse supervision. You will deliver high-quality personal care, assist with meals and homemaking tasks, and maintain daily health charts to ensure residents’ well-being.

Strong English communication, compassion, and teamwork are essential. Prior RA or nursing care experience is preferred, and a flexible schedule is required to meet residents' needs.

Qualifications

• High-school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• One year nursing/resident assistant care experience in senior services preferred.
• Ability to read, write, speak and follow verbal directions in English.
• Basic computer skills with experience or ability to learn electronic health record systems.
• Compassion for hospitality, service, and excellence in senior care.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
• Flexible with hours and shifts.

Responsibilities

• Provide personal care services including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, positioning and transferring.
• Assist residents in dining and homemaking tasks.
• Respond to changes in residents' health and report to the care plan
• Complete thorough daily charting and collaborate with the care team.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
