Job description

Resident Assistant (Full Time; Night Shift)

Join to apply for the Resident Assistant (Full Time; Night Shift) role at FREEDOM POINTE AT THE VILLAGES, LLC.

This position offers a pay range of $16.00/hr - $23.00/hr, depending on experience, with additional shift differentials. The role is full-time, night shift (10:30 pm - 6:30 am), within the Assisted Living department, with 2 positions available.

Responsibilities include:
  • Assisting residents with activities of daily living as per their care plans.
  • Providing training and orientation to staff.
  • Performing clerical duties as directed.
  • Supporting staff verbally and prioritizing tasks to meet residents' needs.
  • Communicating with residents, families, and staff as needed.
  • Assisting with medication reminders or self-administration if certified.
  • Additional duties may include housekeeping and dining room tasks under the universal worker role.
  • Observing safety procedures and reporting unsafe conditions.
  • Using equipment properly and demonstrating thoroughness in work.
Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or GED, or 1-3 months related experience.
  • Experience observing and documenting residents' health changes.
  • Current Basic First Aid and CPR certification (if required by state).
  • LLAM Certification (Med Tech) preferred.

Note: Salary is based on skills, qualifications, and experience. The position is entry-level, full-time, in the healthcare industry, specifically hospitals and health care.
